On April 10, 2022, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗮𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘇𝗼𝗴 of the State of the Israel & 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗲-𝗶𝗻 of the Republic of Korea exchanged congratulatory letters to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Israel - Korea diplomatic relations.
Both presidents reflected on the strong friendship and vibrant relations between the countries, which lead to remarkable and historic achievements.
President Herzog wrote, “Both of our nations created a dynamic economic miracle and fostered robust democratic governance, despite severe security challenges, and with no natural resources other than determination, hard work, and our peoples’ belief in themselves.”
Last year, Israel & Korea were the only countries in the world to 𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗽 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗-19 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, showing the world a new, effective mechanism for running the global health economy.
Furthermore, Israel & Korea signed a 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, Israel’s first in Asia and Korea’s first in the Middle East.
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗮𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘇𝗼𝗴 & 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗲-𝗶𝗻 shared the same vision to further deepen the relations between the countries and the people.
